“You Got This”

The #YouGotThis campaign was developed by the Town of Devon’s Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) department to promote mental health and wellness in the community.

When we approached Kym, we truly thought it was a bit of a long-shot because she is so busy, and her career takes her all over the place, but she was so enthusiastic and embraced it fully! Kym was so thoughtful in taking the time to understand what we were hoping to do and captured the essence of #YouGotThis perfectly.

It is so much more than a song; it is a dedication and anthem to all those who experience mental health issues, large or small, to know that you are seen and heard, and that support is there.

Kym took our message, made it her own and created a song that is relatable, toe-tappable, and long lasting, and to see the evolution from acapella to full blown production was incredible.

Thank you, Kym, for your love and dedication to your home-town.

“I Knew I’d Win”

I wanted to write a song for my wife, Jenn, for our 25th wedding anniversary.

I had an idea for the story of the song and the title. Once I wrote the lyrics I got Kym involved.

She found out the tempo I was looking for and then quickly put a melody to my words. She nailed it. She then got some other very talented musicians and music producers on board.

I also wanted my father in law, who’s an amazing singer himself, involved and Kym incorporated that too with his ability to harmonize. Once they all contributed their parts and with Kym’s amazing lead vocals the gift for my wife was complete.

I still can’t believe how incredible the finished product is. Jenn absolutely loved it and she’ll have it forever.

“Alive Inside” & “Move Mountains” – Acoustic Versions

I would like to thank you for collaborating with me and coming up with two songs,  “Alive Inside and “Moving Mountains ” for our Conference.

You really captured the spirit of the company during covid. “Although the pandemic put a damper on our conference, moving to a virtual platform rather than our annual “in-person” event, your contribution made it meaningful with your creativity.

When all of us needed to be uplifted, you stepped up, the songs helped us to fill our cups and “tank us up” to get through the pandemic.

I cannot thank you enough for being such a great supporter of Connecting Care/Points West Living. You made the process and the execution of the songs a pleasure, and we have a meaning full product that lives on.

Thank you again for your ongoing support, you are a true Care Partner.
